Reflection #3

Discrimination and Prejudice

From the video in YouTube about brown eyes and blue eyes, I remember a situation where I saw one of my friends at work. He looked like Indian guy with the face and the attitude so I said to myself is there an Indian guy with at work. I kept my self away from him and I didn’t want to talk to him. I ended up working with him here in the army so after some time I become friend with him. I started to know him more and to respect him more. I found that his mother is Indian and he looks like his mother. He talks Indian with his family especially his mother.

Another one is when I was in the UK studying, it happens that one of my friends was the team leader of my group and he didn’t take the responsibility of the guys so the bosses decided to change him and put another one instead of him. They decided to put me in his place, so one of the guys said “why to put Ahmed the team leader he thinks so high of himself and he will put us all in problems”. The bosses didn’t listen to what he said and they did put me the leader of the group. After some time we started to know each other. He started to change after some time towards me, he talks to me in a different way and we become good friends and he also apologized to me to what he said to me at the day of choosing the team leaders.
